Greg & Lana~ Engaged : Calgary Wedding Photographer | Jenifer Sander : Oliver Wedding

Greg & Lana it was such a pleasure….~I found it so comfortable to be around the two of you, it was like we knew each other for a long time!!  Thank you so much for asking me to be apart of your most important day!

These two are getting married in the Okanagan in 2012, at Tinhorn Creek Winery in Oliver.  They live in Australia at the moment but Lana is from Calgary originally.  So this engagement  shoot worked out so incredibly since I recently moved to Calgary.  It was great to give them a bit of variety for their engagement shoot ~they will have snow topped mountains for their engagement and for their wedding it will be all based around vineyards…..how lucky are you two!

I asked Lana how Greg proposed:

As for how we got engaged we kind of have a wine theme going on...we met on a wine
tour in Bordeaux and got engaged in the Barossa Valley. Greg organized a 'mystery
trip' for me in early september. He proposed at the Langmeil winery amongst their
168 year old Shiraz vines that are considered to be oldest in the world. Greg
set-up a very romantic proposal by organizing a private tour of the vineyard with a
table set up at the table of the vineyard with a bottle of the exquisite wine
produced from the old vines and two glasses...at which time he got down on one knee
and asked me to marry him. After a brief moment of hesitation, I said yes. In
addition, he had arranged various private tours and dinners for the rest of the
weekend which made for a perfect get away.
Please leave them some love!!
