Gurpal & Caroline~ Married : Penticton Wedding Photographer | Jenifer Sander : East Indian Wedding

So here it is… first wedding of the year AND my first East Indian wedding at that! I have lots to say and lots to post….and if you are anything like me I just want to get to the pics so I’ll try and keep it short.  Gurpal and Caroline were married in Penticton at the Sikh Temple this weekend and man oh man was I excited!  I’ve never done a traditional East Indian wedding so I couldn’t wait!

I have to say~ you know when you try to emphasize something and you can never emphasize it good enough well this is a time….on my way to the wedding it was pouring..I mean POURING….!  When we were taking pictures of just the two of them it drizzled a bit but nothing major ~ Taking pictures of the bridal party SUNNY SUNNY SUNNY but 45 minutes into the shooting it started POURING.  At this point I didn’t have any of just the two them in the White Wedding dress because we were saving that for another location so I was getting a little nervous…..but 1/2 hour later we get to where we were going to take pictures and it stopped…..when we got to the last pose and heading to the car it started raining again!!  CRAZY!  The weather was SO on our side I can’t believe it!!!!

Thanks Walter and Jane for letting us use your property for some amazing backdrops!  Hopefully you’ll let me come back!  and Bob if you’re reading this we just didn’t have time to make it to your place but hope to use your amazing view some other time!

I think the first thing Caroline said to me was “I’m not very photogenic”……I purposely posted LOTS more of her to prove her wrong!!  Take a look at her and actually both of them UNBELIEVABLY  GORGEOUS….no wonder the two of you are dentists your smiles are amazing! AND take a look at the HUGE bridal party~ you’ll notice how ALL of them are HOT HOT HOT!!  . WOW!

Thank you Gurpal and Caroline for trusting me in taking your wedding photos and both of your families are absolutley unbelievable…as are all your friends.  I hope we keep in touch and I’ll for sure see you in the summer.

One last thank you goes to my friend Daniela Sitar who was my second shooter for the day.  Thank you girl ~you rock! Hopefully we’ll work together again soon!

I know I’ve probably missed something but I’ve rambled for long enough~Now on to the photos let me warn you there are tons to go through~ I’ve never posted this many for a wedding before….I’d love to hear from you make sure you leave a comment and let me know you stopped by!!
