Man I love this girl. She is one reason I miss the Okanagan. I’m hoping maybe just maybe when she’s done school she’ll spend some time out this way!! Big Smiles!!

Last Sunday I organized a shoot with 10 other women photographers. The goal was to shoot something you aren’t comfortable with. For me it was trying to force myself to shoot BW. I get so many comments on my colour images that I wanted to see what I could do by shooting in BW. Also shooting head shots. I rarely do really closeup so that for me was really hard. Other girls usually shoot babies so shooting adults was out of their comfort zone. Some forced themselves to shoot with a prime lens or OCF. All in all it was a great day. The weather in January was plus 12.
Here is Jen. The first model. I’ll post the other two models in a seperate post. The Make Up Artist (MUA) was Brenda from Artists Within.

These two are incredible and I’m so super happy they chose me. They were nothing but positive and were game for anything. I’ve also added a few from their engagement shoot in Summerland…..they make me miss the Okanagan ~ Alot! They got married New Years Eve at the incredible Organic Summerhill Winery in Kelowna inside the pyramid. My 2nd shooter was Josh Jerrid ….~Josh I’m so glad I met you! Thank you for everything!
